The Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Italy provides assistance and guidance for foreign nationals wishing to visit the Kurdistan Region for tourism, business, investment, or official missions.

Citizens of EU countries, including Italy, may be eligible for a visa on arrival at international airports in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah. However, for long-term stays or specific business activities, a pre-arranged visa is recommended.

Requirements

• A passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.
• Completed visa application form (available below).
• Two recent passport-sized photographs (white background).
• Letter of invitation from a host in Kurdistan (if applicable).

Application Process
