Mrs. Rezan Kader met the Ambassador of Israel to the Holy See

Today, Mrs. Rezan Kader met with the Ambassador of Israel to the Holy See, Amb. Zion Evrony.
Amb. Evrony asked Mrs. Kader to update on the current situation in the Kurdistan Region including the economic - financial crisis in progress, the evolution of resistance against the terrorists of ISIS, the relationship with the central government, the relations with neighboring countries in particular with Turkey, and the question of independence of the Kurdistan Region.

Mrs. Kader expressed to the Ambassador the need of KRG for further support from the international community in economic, financial and military field to deal with the fight against ISIS and the humanitarian emergency on site. She also expressed the desire to deepen relations with the Jewish community in Italy and abroad, in the light of the deep solidarity showed towards the cause of the Kurdish people.

The Ambassador Evrony guaranteed to Mrs. Kader all his support and to exert all his possible pressure to collect as much consensus it can on the cause of the Kurdish people. The Kurdish people are the largest ethnic group in the world that does not have an own State and deserves to attain its rights to self-determination and independence, considering the sacrifices they are making in the fight against terrorism to defend the international community and to protect human rights.
