Dr. Kader meets with the President of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, Pierferdinando Casini.

Today, Dr. Kader received a visit from the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, Pierferdinando Casini, at the KRG Representation Office.
The discussions focused on the current situation in the Kurdistan Region, relations with the central government, and the liberation of Mosul, a stronghold of Daesh terrorists.
President Casini expressed to the High Representative his desire to travel on an official mission to the Kurdistan Region with a Senate delegation to demonstrate his full support for the Kurdistan Regional Government's commitment to fighting Daesh terrorists and maintaining stability in the region, as well as to express his solidarity with the refugees and internally displaced persons in the Kurdistan Region.
Dr. Kader welcomed this request, which she will implement immediately in coordination with the relevant Kurdish authorities.
The High Representative concluded by thanking Italy for its commitment and support to the Kurdistan Regional Government.
