Dr. Rezan Kader's participation in the Festival of Nations, Città di Castello, Umbria.

Dr. Rezan Kader, High Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government, was invited yesterday, August 27, 2013, as guest of honor at the opening ceremony of the Festival of Nations, held in the Church of San Domenico in Città di Castello, Umbria.
The Festival of Nations is an annual event under the patronage of the President of the Regional Council of Umbria. This year, the Festival was dedicated not to a single nation, as is traditional, but to Europe, with the aim of revitalizing it as a unified political entity.

The opening evening featured performances by renowned musicians from across Europe and the participation of numerous dignitaries, including Dr. Catiuscia Marini, President of the Umbria Region; Dr. Silvano Rometti, Councilor for the Environment, Territory, Infrastructure, and Transport; Dr. Eros Brega, President of the Umbria Regional Council; Dr. Giovanni Andrea Lignani Marchesani, Vice President of the Umbria Regional Council; Dr. Luciano Bacchetta, Mayor of Città di Castello; Dr. Michele Bettarelli, Deputy Mayor of Città di Castello; and the Hon. Catia Polidori, Dr. Fiorenzo Luchetti, President of Confindustria Perugia, HE Rev. Msgr. Domenico Cancian, Dr. Stefano Neri, President of Confartigianato Imprese Umbria, Dr. Massimo Ortalli, Vice President of Federfarma Perugia, Dr. Giuliano Giubilei, Deputy Director of TG3 and President of the Festival, Dr. Roberto De Lellis, Organizational Director of the Festival, and many other representatives of the political, business, and cultural worlds.
The opening evening concluded with a gala dinner in the charming cloister adjacent to the church of San Domenico.
