Dr. Rezan Kader meets with the Diplomatic Advisor to the Minister of Defense, Min. Pl. Nicoletta Bombardiere

Today, Dr. Kader met with the Diplomatic Advisor to the Minister of Defense, Msgr. Nicoletta Bombardiere, at the Italian Ministry of Defense.
Discussions focused on the current situation in the Kurdistan Region, the ongoing humanitarian crisis, and the financial crisis resulting from the central government's failure to pay its budget, as well as the fight against Daesh.
Dr. Kader thanked Minister Bombardiere for the Italian government's significant support. However, additional military and humanitarian support is urgently needed, including military supplies, technical clothing, care for injured Peshmerga, and the continued demining and reconstruction of cities occupied by terrorists and subsequently liberated to allow the return of displaced people. Unfortunately, many requests have not been met.
Minister Bombardiere, underscoring the enormous importance of the Kurdish issue in all its aspects for the Italian Government, to which Minister Pinotti devotes particular attention, expressed his solidarity with Dr. Kader. Furthermore, she will inform Minister Pinotti so that she can exert appropriate pressure on the Italian Government to promptly meet the requests made and to urge the other countries of the international coalition to find effective ways to financially support the Kurdistan Region.
