Participation of Mrs. Kader to the gala opening of "Il Natale dei 100 alberi d’Autore"


Mrs. Rezan Kader , High Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government has been invited to participate, on November 29th 2013 , at the gala opening of  “Il Natale dei 100 alberi d’Autore” of Sergio Valente , in order to raise funds for the NGO “Lo vuole il cuore”.
This NGO is a voluntary association of social solidarity and no- profit organization, founded on the inspiration of Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio , President of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts , formed to carry out social assistance to persons in distress particularly difficult and.
Among the goals of the association is to promote a culture of peace, solidarity and understanding between peoples and cultures ; assist, care for and support through appropriate initiatives and projects , individuals or groups of persons in special need to due to illness, poverty or any other type of physical or mental suffering; assist and treat children, families, women, the elderly and any other social category that need help.
This year , given the recent dramatic events , the Association wants to devote his attention to refugee children and orphans that these days are flocking to the island of Lampedusa.
The 100 trees, unique and original artistic creations, will remain exposed after the gala from November 30th to December 1st in an exhibition open to the public in order to continue the sale and fundraiser.
Mrs. Kader , stepped on stage , drew attention to the dramatic situation of the thousands of Syrian refugees who currently reside in the territory of Iraqi Kurdistan, explaining how the Kurdistan Regional Government and the entire Kurdish population , it is committed from the outset to provide assistance of any kind.
Attended the event distinguished representatives of the institutions, fashion and national and international press .
